Thank you for this day of remembering. Bless every soul who has gone before who sacrificed everything so that we might be free, and bless all of those who continue to serve.
Thank you most especially for the brave young women pilots who took to the skies over 65 years ago, flying for their country without question or expectation of reward. Thank you for watching over them as they flew during some of the darkest days our country has ever known. Thank you for their honorable service, their fearless determination and their unquestioning patriotism, which has inspired us all to dream dreams we could never have imagined.
**Thank you for the lives and the sacrifice of the 38 women pilots who paid the ultimate price while flying for their country.**
Continue to watch over the wonderful WASP, and surround them with your love. May their laudable history and their exemplary lives continue to inspire
In Jesus name…
amen

Thanks so much for sharing this. We always knew SOMEBODY was back there, behind us and before us. We just never got to meet you or hear your stories before now. It's a very special day in America. THANK YOU!
Beautiful Memorial Day prayer... We must never forget. Thank you for all you've done to make sure America remembers. Your tireless work, in making sure the WASP stories are documented, deserves a Gold Medal. Bless you, the WASP and our beautiful country.

I just came across an article on the WASP program...I had never heard of these women. As one who would be a daughter to them age-wise, I thank them for their service and strength. This was a beautiful prayer, one I will say aloud at 3:00 Washington State time.

I remember these women well. I grew up during WWII and they were a BIG part of the war effort. Everyone worked together and everything was for the men and women in the Armed Forces. I'm so proud to be a part of this memorial and I would like to know more about Sweetwater as I just might move there in the near future. God bless you all and everything you did for our country.
